I am a native of Southern California, living with my husband in a small rural community not far from Palm Springs. After more than half a century of living in the city, I learned to love country life with its wide open skies and peaceful lifestyle. I love the wildlife, the gorgeous sunsets and brilliant starry skies.
The creative arts have been my passion since my youth. In school, I focused on music, playing piano, guitar, and the French horn. I chose commercial art as my career and am still a graphic designer today.
In 2011, I revisited my writing skills, leading me to the trilogy I am now creating. I have several short stories of many genres available online, but my passion is currently the creation of my science fiction/fantasy trilogy called "Inherited".
I was adopted as an infant and raised by loving parents, but always felt a void not knowing my genetic roots. At the age 37, I was able to locate my birth mother. That journey has led to my favorite past time today - genealogy research.
I am excited to create a community of readers who not only enjoy my work, but are learning to create fantastic lives for themselves. We were born to create and, in my understanding, the term "coming of age" means to find ourselves and the products or services that have become our passions life. It is never too late to "bloom". So, let's get started!
My journey is always more interesting when shared with my readers. I blog to stimulate your ideas and questions. In return, I look forward to writing even better books - stories that you help to create by giving me insights and situations that my characters have yet to experience and explore.
Don't be shy. You don't need to be a writer to see your ideas come to life.
Do you remember the metaphor about "dwarfs standing on the shoulders of giants" ( Bernard of Chartres 12th century)? Each of us creates from what has come along before us. We inherit our ideas. Others inspire us.
I would love for you to inspire me and the characters in my books.
